Forgiveness is the ultimate test of your ability to embody higher principles. Try these simple exercises in forgiveness.

On a peaceful, sunny day, watch a cloud in the sky. Collect all of your negative feelings and place them on the cloud. Watch the clouds float away with all of your hurts. Relax and breathe deeply during this exercise.

Write a letter to the person you want to forgive. Include details about why you were hurt and clearly state your intention to forgive. Read this letter allowed and then shred the letter.

If you were at the beach, write your negative thoughts or grievances on the sand close to the water. Watch the waves wash over your words and experience forgiveness.
